Project for the renovation and expansion of a residential dock

The existing dock, nearly twenty years old, showed obvious signs of aging and deterioration. It had become unstable and required extensive renovation to restore its functionality and safety. We began by reinforcing the dock's existing structure, using advanced construction techniques to ensure its long-term strength and durability. Concurrently, we removed the old boards, too deteriorated to repair, and replaced them with Western Red Cedar, a material known for its weather resistance and aesthetic appeal. Special attention was paid to seamlessly integrate the dock with its natural environment. By conforming to the shape of the underlying rock, we created a structure that blends seamlessly into the landscape, providing our client with a pleasant visual experience and safe, convenient access to the water.
